About Us
Cloud Nine is a clothing brand focused on mental wellness. Our signature hoodies have built-in stress-relief elements and are especially loved by neurodivergent individuals and anyone looking for calm, sensory-friendly clothing. We keep things clean, minimal, and thoughtful.
What We’re Looking For
We need a fashion designer who can take full ownership of our next collection. From trend forecasting all the way to final samples.
You should be someone who:
- Keeps up with trends and knows what’s coming next (Months ahead)
- Can build a mood board, create a clear direction, and think through what’s going to sell
- Understands our aesthetic: minimal, elevated, cozy (think Aritzia / Lululemon vibes)
- Can design clean but creative hoodie styles for both adults and kids
- Creative, so could also bring in more sensory-friendly details (no tags, discreet features, calming fabrics)
- Can create tech packs and work through the sampling process with our team
What You’ll Do
Research trends + forecast what’s ahead
Build mood boards and present seasonal ideas
Plan styles, fits, colors, and materials
Design a full range of hoodie concepts (pullovers, zip-ups, sets)
Add in sensory-friendly features that make sense for our audience
Create tech packs
Work with us through sampling rounds and final approval
You’d Be a Great Fit If You:
Have experience designing for comfort/lifestyle/streetwear
Are comfortable working solo and taking lead on projects
Understand how to make simple look special
Like working with a small team that moves fast
