<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Laboratory Services Department.</p><p>The primary location for this position is: <strong>Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certification with Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.</li><li>Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine.</li><li>Minimum two years&#39; experience in a medical laboratory preferred</li><li>Demonstrated computer literacy (i.e. Cerner); </li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision;</li><li>Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking skills; </li><li>Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams; </li><li>Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety; </li><li>Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis; </li><li>Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.</li></ul><p><strong>Other pertinent conditions</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include; weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts and ability to work On-Call.
