Role: Dot Net Developer

Location: Ottawa, ON

Duration: 6 months Contract

Role Description

We are looking for a .NET developer located in Ottawa, ON. The .NET developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using .NET technologies. Daily tasks include implementing object-oriented programming principles, creating and maintaining software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable applications.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles
  • Experience with Software Development, including implementation and maintenance of software applications
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC frameworks
  • Attention to detail and ability to write clean, readable, and testable code
  • Understanding of software design patterns and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies and development practices is a plus

Required Skills

  • .NET 8/9
  • Blazor (WebAssembly / Server / Hybrid)
  • Mobile or web applications – both and cross-platform development is a strong plus
  • API integration from UI

Nice to Haves

  • .NET MAUI
  • Xamarin Forms is preferable but not required
