At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we love what we do. And we live it too.THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Manager, Health Promotion, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the implementation of local Health Promotion (HP) programs and campaigns.

They ensure the collection of necessary documentation and arrange topic briefings in preparation for conferences, meetings and appointments. They provide clerical support for the HP Manager including data entry, word processing, photocopying, correspondence, distribution and follow-up action.

They organize meetings, advise attendees, draft and distribute agendas and minutes. They also organize event calendars and assist with event bookings such as registration, booking technical equipment and set up of event location, as required.

They schedule and arrange appointments, meetings, and travel schedules. They disseminate HP information through a variety of channels including website updates, visual displays and social media.

They have attention to detail and use their creativity to be innovative. This is a hands-on role, requiring the building and maintaining of strong connections with colleagues, partners and clients.
