Our_ LodgeManager Assistant is _the key liaison between the client, all camp staff members as well as the StepThru head office.

Job Title: Assistant Lodge Manager

Place of Work: Remote Administration

Required Experience: 5 Years experience in Hospitality Administration role, 2 year in a remote lodge setting, 1 year in a management or supervisory role

Hours of Work: As agreed with Operations Manager/ Lodge Manager.

Scope and General Purpose: Our Assistant Lodge Manager is a key liaison between the client, all camp staff members as well as the StepThru head office. Provide team leadership to 10 plus staff daily

Responsible to: Camp Manager/Operations Manager

Responsible for: Conducting operations in the main front office, completion of all tasks daily, additional assigned projects, monitoring schedule, timesheets, staff task completion, guest interactions

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year – Commensurate with experience

Liaise with: All kitchen staff, client and management

Minimum Main Duties and Responsibilities * Not Limited to*:

· Responsible for overseeing accuracy and completing, recording, monitoring and maintaining accurate records of all occupants in camp on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. (Charge Sheets)

· Preparing, updating, recording and sharing all checklists needed for all departments.

· Participating in completion of daily audits and task checklists

· Receiving and inputting new reservations, reviewing for accuracy and completeness, following up with incoming reservations daily

· Liaising with clientele to build client relationships

· Checking clients/guests in and out of camp.

· Engaged team member who works effectively with all team members, visitors, and clients.

· Working with management team and Human Resources to enhance quality and efficiency to continuously build a great work environment.

· Able to supervise and work closely with our catering team to keep quality at the highest standards, immediately reporting any concerns for audit findings.

· Able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with fluctuating guest and staff onsite

· Assisting other departments (housekeeping, janitorial and kitchen); helping other departments to ensure job completion and client accommodations standards are met.

· General assistance in stocking and cleaning as required

· All breaks, designated or otherwise MUST be communicated through supervisor

· Other duties as assigned by the on site Manager.

Other Requirements:

· REQUIRED - 1+ years experience working in a camp setting

· REQUIRED – High competency with Office 365 suite(Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

· REQUIRED – 5 year experience in Hospitality Administration role, 2 year in a remote lodge setting

· REQUIRED - 1 year in a management or supervisory role

· REQUIRED – 1 year experience with Camp Manager housing program

· Food Safety is an asset

· Culinary or Housekeeping/Janitorial experience is an asset

· Valid government issued class 5 driver's license.

Working Conditions

12 hour shift, 20 days in and 10 days out - rotational schedule. Front Desk Clerk is required to stay in camp for duration of rotation.

Physical Requirements

This may range from basic office needs, kitchen stocking to cleaning a room; helping the team as needed is a required. Other requirements
