<p><b>Assistant Superintendent</b></p><p><br></p><p>Assistant Superintendent role for one of the top General Contractors and Construction Managers for non-market housing in the Lower Mainland. You support the Site Superintendent in the delivery on 6-storey wood-frame (and occassional concrete) projects. There are 2 openings (due to internal promotions) that need to be filled by February and March 2026 respectively.</p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Company</b></p><p>This GC and CM has been an industry leader in building non-market housing for BC Housing, Churches and non-profit organizations. They also take on occasional Market-housing, institutional and mixed-use projects too. They excel at workforce planning and have industry leading tenure displayed throughout their team. They know how to keep they best staff happy and will ensure any gaps between projects are avoided and people are kept busy (and paid) until their next project starts.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Typical Projects</b></p><ul><li>Their most common projects are 6-storey wood-frames on underground parkades.</li><li>Clients are often rental building operators including churches and non-profits.</li><li>They also handle occasional concrete, healthcare and institutional projects.</li><li>Initial focus will be a project in Burnaby, but one of the hires will move to another project in the Lower Mainland soon after.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Key Duties</b></p><ul><li>Support the Site Superintendent in the delivery of the project.</li><li>Take on specific scopes to make your priority, such as Interior, M&E and envelope work.</li><li>Support the enforcement and education to ensure a safe and harassment free jobsite.</li><li>Learn the project drawings and scope to ensure the project is delivered correctly with quality and on schedule.</li><li>Other duties typical of an Assistant Superintendent role.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><ul><li>Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 plus annual bonus</li><li>Medical and Dental plan and a Health spending account</li><li>Employee and dependent life insurance, AD&D, CI, STD and LTD coverage</li><li>3 Weeks of Vacation</li><li>Mobile phone and plan (or an allowance if preferred)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>How to Apply</b></p><p>Apply on this page or email your resume to Mark Fedyshen at </p>
