Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Duties

  1. Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
  2. Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues.
  3. Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
  4. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term health.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic.
  6. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
  7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.


Skills

  1. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
  2. Experience with dental software systems including Dentrix and Epic is preferred.
  3. Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology for restorative procedures is a plus.
  4. Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and techniques.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff in a busy dental office environment.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
