Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our bustling service team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the backbone of our quality promise, responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs. You will play a crucial role in preparing our vehicles for sale and providing outstanding service to our customers, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
What You'll Do:
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of domestic and imported vehicles.
- Conduct thorough vehicle safety inspections and diagnostic testing to identify issues.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks and scheduled services like brake jobs, oil changes, and tire rotations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems with precision and skill.
- Maintain clear records of all service work performed.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure a timely workflow and a safe, organized shop.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a professional role as an Automotive Mechanic or Technician.
- Proven skills in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and a methodical approach to solving problems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Automotive Service Technician (310S) certification or apprenticeship is a strong asset.
