We are an established Home services company looking to fill the position of Full Cycle Accounting /Bookkeeper

Position Requirements

• Perform full cycle accounting duties for a home service company
• Must be a savant with Quickbooks.
• Verify time sheets and prepare payroll and bonus plan
• Reconcile all documents needed to check and batch customer invoices.
• Process / Coding, Data entry of AP Invoices and matching of monthly AP statements.
• Process credit card payments through credit card processor as well as batch out daily transactions.
• Monitor AR reports and retrieve AR aging accounts to review upcoming payments and to prevent overdue accounts.
• AR calling on outstanding customer invoices.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators.
• Manage HR, AR/AP, payroll, cash management and all related accounting procedures.
• Provide accurate, on-time income statements to owner.
• Coordinate with external agencies for tax planning, preparation and reporting.
• Ensure that Provincial and federal income tax reporting is accurate and current.
• Shape company culture by carrying out agreed upon values, specifically ethics and integrity.
• Send required clients to Collections Company.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 5 years of bookkeeping / Quickbooks experience. Experience in full cycle accounting concepts and procedures, as is the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, entering and reviewing financial information.

• Strong communication skills; able to present complex information to leaders clearly.
• Ability to distill important numbers and convey a strategic view of performance.
• Highly organized and process driven with exceptional follow-through abilities.
• In-depth understanding of debit and credit accounting processes.
• Thorough attention to detail with on time delivery.
• Able to maintain confidence and serve as the trusted right-hand to the business owner.
• Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude on life.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, and google docs specifically MS Excel.

Salary: $51,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
