Job Position: Building Operators (Full-Time Position).<br><br>Sheriff Corporation is the Landlord for office, commercial & industrial properties in the GTA area. Our Head office is located in Vaughan. <br><br>Job Details:<br>We are seeking a Building Operator to join our Property Management team of Property Managers, Property Administrators and other Building Operators.
<br>Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems and facilities.</li><li>Respond to tenant service calls in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Oversee the appearance and safety of the property.</li><li>Operate Building Automation and Security computer systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions/recommendations.</li><li>Oversee subcontractors and ensure they abide by building guidelines.</li><li>Communicate with Operations Supervisor/Property Management on building and tenant issues.</li><li>Ability to work staggered hours to suit the needs of building occupants as well as statutory holidays, weekends, and overtime as required/assigned, or when participating in regular standby rotation schedule to respond to emergencies, equipment failures, and breakdowns.</li><li>Perform hands-on general cleaning, plumbing and electrical, painting, carpentry and HVAC repairs along with other miscellaneous as required.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
<br>Qualifications & Requirements:<ul><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in building operations.</li><li>Experience in a commercial/office/industrial environment.</li><li>Familiar with safety and fire codes and WHMIS procedures.</li><li>Proactive in identifying problems and resolving them.</li><li>Knowledge of all facets of building operations and maintenance.</li><li>Team player and can also work independently.</li><li>Excellent computer and communications skills.</li></ul>About Gottardo Group of Companies:<br><p>We are a Real Estate Developer, Design Builder and General Contractor, along with a Masonry Company. <br>Our Head Office is located in Vaughan. <br><br></p>
