  • Position Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic Business Consultant with a deep understanding of user experience (UX), design, and technology services within the healthcare sector.

    The ideal candidate will drive innovation and enhance user satisfaction across our range of healthcare products and services through strategic insights and effective implementation of UX principles, with a strong focus on product development and strategic partnerships. This role will be responsible for integrating new services into our existing technology, expanding our services lineup by connecting partnerships into a centralized user experience.

    Strategic UX Leadership

  • Lead UX strategy development aligned with business goals and user needs
  • Conduct user research, personas development, and journey mapping to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UX into product and service development lifecycles
  • Design and Technology Integration

  • Oversee the design process from concept to implementation, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience
  • Work closely with technology teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance usability and functionality
  • Advocate for design thinking principles and agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement
  • User-Centric Innovation

  • Identify market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to propose innovative solutions
  • Champion user-centric design principles throughout the organization, influencing decision-making at all levels
  • Product Focus and Partnerships

  • Drive product innovation and development to meet market needs and enhance patient outcomes
  • Foster and manage strategic partnerships to expand our healthcare offerings and improve service delivery
  • Ensure products are developed and launched in alignment with TELUS Health’s strategic goals and market demands
  • Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and align on project objectives
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner
  • Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization

  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and optimize product and service offerings
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs related to user experience, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, UX Design, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in UX/UI design, product management, or consulting roles within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient privacy requirements
  • Proficiency in UX design tools and project management software
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and user feedback into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Great to Haves

  • MBA or other advanced degrees in a related field
  • PMP designation, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certifications
  • Bilingual English/French considered an asset
