Business Development Manager Industry: Freight Brokerage / 3PL
Location: Burlington (Onsite)
Reports to: Sales Manager
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (depending on experience and performance potential).

Role Overview As a Business Development Manager, you directly shape your earning potential and career trajectory. Your core responsibility is to identify, prospect, and secure new business through cold calling, outreach, and relationship-building—fully supported by our internal teams.
Once a customer is onboarded, they transition to our dedicated Solutions Team, allowing you to continue generating new opportunities while earning ongoing permanent commissions.
You will start by focusing on cold calling and prospecting, eventually building strong, meaningful relationships rooted in trust and integrity. These customer partnerships will be long-lasting and rewarding.
Industry experience is an asset, but not required. Demonstrated sales success and cold calling experience are essential.

Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (Freight Brokerage/3PL experience is a strong advantage)
  • Outside sales experiencenon-negotiable
  • Proven success in sales and cold callingnon-negotiable
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationshipsnon-negotiable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics (preferred)
  • Experience engaging customers by phone, video, and in-person
  • Availability to be accessible when customers need support
  • Strong energy, initiative, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Logistics or transportation experience (an asset)
