Business Intelligence Lead - Healthcare

Vision Talent's client is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead with very specific and extensive healthcare experience required.

This role can be 100% remote from anywhere in Canada but some travel may be required (1x/month).

This is a 2 year initial contract term with possibility of extension. The Business Intelligence Lead will establish data-driven decision-making through comprehensive analytics and reporting systems that leverage clinical data for performance tracking and informed business decisions throughout the province. The primary focus is to build a strategy for robust data analytics and reporting that enable performance tracking and decision-making at facility, organizational, and health systems levels; develop frameworks and tools for real-time access to clinical data and insights; and establish building blocks for reporting and predictive analytics.

The Business Intelligence Lead will be required to work closely with other team members, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and clinical and health administrative stakeholders in the gathering of business, operational, and clinical requirements and design of OKRs and performance indicators to be adopted province wide. This role serves as a business lead to drive the planning and implementation of province-wide business intelligence system.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• University Degree in Healthcare Sciences, Health Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience
• 10+ years of Healthcare leadership experience (including cross-functional leadership connecting clinical, operational, and administrative decision-makers through BI or analytics systems), with proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams in public and private sectors, delivering large scale programs/projects in health systems, healthcare innovation, digital health, and/or clinical settings
• Strategy and business planning experience in a healthcare environment, managing diverse stakeholders of all levels, defining goals/objectives, scoping and planning, delivering large scale programs/projects, mitigating risks, and identifying opportunities to grow business and future proof services
• 5+ years of experience managing a business intelligence (reporting and analytics) function or program within healthcare (i.e. hospital, government, public sector or private organization).
• Project management experience with a proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams, overseeing delivery of multiple projects in scope, on time, and within budget in a fast-paced environment
