Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with Data Governance and Automation experience. This role requires a 50/50 blend of technical expertise and governance execution. You will work closely with data owners and enterprise stakeholders to execute data governance requirements, provide BAU support, and maintain compliance with enterprise
data governance practices.
Responsibilities:
- Responding and executing on enterprise data governance requirements, as they change or shift.
- Collaborate with data owners through bi-weekly touchpoints, maintaining certification and governance protocols.
- Support and automate data governance processes using tools such as Power Automate or other programming languages.
- Manage day-to-day BAU (business as usual) activities related to data governance.
- Provide enterprise-level support for data governance activities with high visibility to key stakeholders.
- Contribute to data governance strategies and frameworks in alignment with enterprise goals.
- Experience working in other enterprise organizations, helping to execute on Data Governance
- Mature shop, not looking to build a program or create anything new in Data Governance.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis or related fields.
- Strong background in Data Governance and its implementation at an enterprise level.
- Proficient in a programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or powerautomate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Experience managing data governance touchpoints with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and certifications is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Banking or Financial Services (plus)
- Experience with enterprise-level data governance programs.
- Relevant data governance certifications (e.g., DGSP, CDMP) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and process optimization skills.
