Position: Business Systems Analyst – Capital Markets


Contract: 10-month contract (extendable)


Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)


About the Role:


Out client is seeking experienced Business Systems Analysts to support a major Liquidity initiative within Capital Markets for a leading financial institution. This role focuses on cash movement, liquidity management, and capital markets data analysis to strengthen real-time payment and liquidity monitoring systems.


What You’ll Do:



  • Perform data analysis, mapping, and SQL-based profiling within banking and capital markets data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across liquidity, collateral management, and trading operations.

  • Support regulatory projects and help ensure compliance with intraday liquidity standards.

  • Drive requirement gathering, documentation, SIT, and UAT support.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • 10+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services.

  • Strong SQL, data mining, and data mapping experience.

  • Deep capital markets product knowledge (calls, securities, bonds, yields).

  • Liquidity and collateral management experience.

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder collaboration.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Experience with Intraday Liquidity programs.

  • Exposure to retail, wealth, or commercial banking.

  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance projects.

  • Knowledge of front, middle, and back-office functions.
