Adecco is currently hiring a Cafe Professional for a full-time opportunity with our client in the food service industry.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing meats, fish, vegetables, soups, sandwiches, salads, and other hot food grill items, while also assisting with inventory control, cleanliness, and menu input.

- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare and portion meats, vegetables, soups, salads, and hot grill products
- Regulate kitchen equipment to ensure food is cooked and stored at safe temperatures
- Maintain quality by checking freshness, rotating stock, and following standard recipes
Café Operations & Cleanliness:
- Maintain clean and sanitary food prep areas, surfaces, and serving stations
- Follow food safety standards and café policies consistently
- Restock food items to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service
Support & Closing Duties:
- Assist with food prep during off-peak periods
- Complete kitchen closing checklists and support others during close
- Provide input into new menu items and kitchen improvements
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Previous experience in food preparation, line cooking, or café operations
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and proper storage practices
