Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to join our client's laboratory team in Mississauga, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in problem-solving, providing creative service solutions, and ensuring quality standards are met. Working primarily from the service centre with occasional field service, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in equipment calibration.
  • Pay rate: $27/hour.
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Shifts: 3 days per week
  • Job type: Temporary | Part-time - 20-24 hours/week

Responsibilities:
  • Complete calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned.
  • Enter data accurately into tracking databases.
  • Prepare and complete calibration data sheets and documentation supporting ISO and customer requirements.
  • Conduct basic calibrations and occasional repairs under supervision.
  • Participate in daily scheduling, visual management, kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
  • Provide limited customer interaction related to calibration and repair inquiries.
  • Perform other laboratory support functions in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Occasionally travel for on-site calibration services under supervision.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • CGP certification required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (eligible to drive company vehicle).
  • General Purpose instruments
  • Physical Dimensional instruments
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Experience in calibration of:
    • Torque
    • Pressure
    • RF
