Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Laborer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, physically capable, and comfortable working on active construction sites. This role supports skilled trades and helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks such as site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Dig trenches, backfill, and compact soil as needed
- Assist carpenters
- Set up and break down work areas, barricades, and safety signage
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or foreman
Qualifications
- 3 years of previous construction experience required, preferably carpentry
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
