Salary:

Apprentice Carpenter

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter with a strong work ethic, the desire to be part of a team, and the skills to assist in the construction of projects in the Saskatoon region.

Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Carpenter will be responsible for the completion of carpentry work and quality management of concrete formwork, ensuring the compliance with job specifications. The Apprentice Carpenter is also responsible for general site maintenance and clean-up as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Adherence to project specs and corporate safety requirements on all sites
  • Construction of concrete forms
  • Removal of concrete forms
  • Report issues as they arise to the superintendent
  • Proficient knowledge and use of power tools
  • Mentor novice workers
  • Other tasks as required by the site foreman / site superintendent


Requirements

  • 2+ years of carpentry experience
  • Concrete form work experience
  • Be organized, interpersonal and strong communicator
  • Candidate must have excellent time management skills, have the ability to prioritize work and be results driven
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong understanding of quality standards
  • Highly organized, results-oriented and able to work in a multi-functional team environment
  • Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license
