Overview <br />We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic oral surgery practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, as well as a passion for providing exceptional dental care.<br /><br /> Duties <br /><br /> Assist the surgeon during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.<br /> Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.<br /> Provide patient education and post-operative care.<br /> Collaborate with the dental receptionists to ensure smooth operations within the practice.<br /><br /> Experience <br /><br /> At least 1 year of previous experience in dental assisting is a must,<br /> Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.<br /> Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are necessary for success in this role.<br /> A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in dental care is highly valued.<br /> A sense of humor is a must!<br /><br />Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Pay: $31.00-$36.00 per hour<br /><br />Benefits:<br /> Extended health care<br /> Paid time off<br /><br />Work Location: In person
