<p>Position: Cleaning Supervisor</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and supervisory roles, with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors</li><li>Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met</li><li>Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment</li><li>Hire and train cleaning staff</li><li>Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments</li><li>Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records</li><li>Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs</li><li>May perform certain cleaning duties.</li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>- High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p>- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleaning supervisor or similar role</p> <p>- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment</p> <p>- Excellent leadership and communication skills</p> <p>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> <p>- Strong organizational and time management skills</p> <p>- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or issues effectively</p> <p>- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures</p> <p>- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software</p> <p>- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>This is a full-time, permanent position located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The working hours may vary, including evenings and weekends, depending on the needs of the business.
