This role bridges finance, operations, and project delivery by providing commercial insight, cost analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. The analyst works closely with project managers, estimators, finance teams, and senior leadership to support decision-making, manage risk, and enhance profitability throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Analyze project financial performance, including budgets, cost-to-complete, cash flow, margins, and variance analysis.</li><li>Support preparation of monthly project cost reports and commercial dashboards.</li><li>Assist with forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial modelling for ongoing and future projects.</li><li>Identify commercial risks and opportunities and support mitigation strategies.</li><li>Work with project teams to monitor contract compliance, change management, and cost control.</li><li>Support review and analysis of change orders, claims, and commercial correspondence.</li><li>Track key commercial KPIs across projects and divisions.</li><li>Assist in developing standardized commercial processes and reporting tools.</li><li>Support bid and proposal teams with commercial inputs, cost analysis, and risk assessments.</li><li>Assist in reviewing tender documentation, contractual terms, and commercial conditions.</li><li>Participate in post-bid reviews and lessons learned.</li><li>Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support management decision-making.</li><li>Consolidate data from multiple systems (ERP, accounting, project controls) to produce meaningful insights.</li><li>Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of commercial data.</li><li>Liaise with project managers, finance, estimating, procurement, and senior leadership.</li><li>Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives across commercial and operational functions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications & Experience:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li><li>3-7 years of experience in a commercial, financial, or business analyst role within construction, infrastructure, or engineering environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of project financials, cost control, and commercial management.</li><li>Experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar tools is an asset.</li><li>Familiarity with construction ERP systems and project controls software.</li><li>Solid understanding of contracts, change management, and commercial risk.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What AMICO Can Offer You:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Employer Matching Retirement Program</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul><p><br></p><p>At Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
