About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our organization. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and financial management skills.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of establishing high financial standards, implementing internal controls, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
- They will also be responsible for overseeing the production of periodic financial reports, coordinating and reviewing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and ensuring compliance with local, provincial, and federal government requirements.
- Additionally, the Financial Controller will work closely with external auditors, coordinate annual operational audits, and manage the Club’s cash flow.
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have a CPA designation, knowledge of accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- You will also require high-level computer literacy in accounting and business intelligence, as well as SQL ability.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting management in a multi-faceted operation is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis and tax compliance regulations.
Salary Range
$120,000 – $130,000 per year
