Permanent Position: Cost estimator - construction No. of vacancies: 01 Start Date: As soon as possible Work Location: 13423, 78 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W 0A8 Wage rate: $80,000 annually / 37.5 hours per week Education: High school Experience: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience. Language: English. Job Duties Prepare estimates for labor and material costs. Prepare pre-qualification submissions for clients. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements. Estimate general expenses and overhead costs. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures. Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors. Liaise and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on cost adjustments. Working Setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time during regular business hours, with flexibility for evenings or weekends if project deadlines require.
