We are seeking a dedicated Crusher Operator to join our team. This role is vital in supporting our waste management operations by ensuring the proper handling and operation of crushing equipment at our facility in Burlington. As part of our team, you will contribute to our commitment to safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible waste processing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain crushing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform minor repairs on machinery.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for daily operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Support other operational tasks as needed to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, particularly crushers or similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance.
- Valid commercial driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Prior experience in waste management or construction industries is a plus.
