Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Custom Cabinetmaker with strong commercial millwork experience to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and assembling custom cabinets, fixtures, and architectural woodwork according to detailed drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret detailed shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists
  • Fabricate and assemble custom cabinets, millwork, casework, and fixtures
  • Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, panel saws, CNC, edge banders, planers, jointers, shapers, and sanders
  • Use hand tools and power tools to adjust and finish products to meet quality standards
  • Work with various materials including wood, laminate, veneer, MDF, and solid surface
  • Ensure accuracy in measurements, cuts, and alignment
  • Apply hardware, hinges, drawers, and specialty fittings
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following workplace safety standards
  • Collaborate with installers and production staff to meet project timelines
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and design specifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of commercial millwork or cabinetmaking experience
  • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing
  • Ability to read/interpret millwork drawings and technical documents
  • Experience operating common woodworking machinery and tools
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and craftsmanship
  • Ability to lift and handle large wood panels and components
  • Completion of Cabinetmaker/Joinery apprenticeship or equivalent experience is an asset
