We are looking for individuals with strong drive, commitment to cultivating their skills and grow within our company!Duties and Responsibilities* Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries* Process orders from customers* Maintain records of all customer service transactions* Retrieve data (i.e. account information) from system* Assist customers with standard account-related requests* Provide information about service availability, charges and service conditions* Advise customers about inventory and order/shipment status* Research and resolve customer discrepancies, acting as the customer liaison between departments when necessary* Collaborate closely with other departmental staff to coordinate account activities* Invoicing customers* Dealing with drivers and providing excellent customer service* Perform other office duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS* High school diploma or equivalent (Required)* Previous customer service experience in shipping/logistics (Preferred)* Effective communication skills both oral and written* Strong attention to detail* Ability to successfully work both independently and as part of a team* Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset* Ability to multitask and set priorities* Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision* Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills* Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment* Computer literate, including effective working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and e-mail.Compensation and Benefits* Competitive wage* Group medical and dental insurance benefits sponsored by company* Company sponsored pension plan, with employer matched contributions* Paid birthday off* Various company events throughout the year, including a summer picnic, BBQ’s, etc.Conestoga Cold Storage is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
