You'll help one of Canada's most trusted organizations work on the latest project, and be rewarded with great opportunities.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Senior Project Manager & Security Architect, you will lead large-scale, high-risk security programs that protect Ontario's Critical Valued Assets (CVAs). You'll combine advanced information-security architecture expertise, especially in enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and enterprise database monitoring (IBM Guardium an asset), with senior program lead experience and project-management skills. You'll manage end-to-end delivery, embed "security by design" principles to ensure protection of critical valued assets and enhanced security monitoring. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure the successful acceptance, timely execution, and day-2 supportability and operability of all project changes and deliverables. </p><p><br></p><p><b>Key deliverables will include:</b></p><ul><li>Act as Senior Program Lead across CVA security initiatives, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality </li><li>Gathers and develops requirements and works with project stakeholders and ITS project managers to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan. </li><li>Define and validate information security architecture for DLP solutions, data classification, encryption schemes, and database-monitoring (Guardium) </li><li>Lead consultative workshops to capture business and security requirements, threat models, and "security by design" patterns </li><li>Develop and manage integrated project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and change-control processes </li><li>Oversee vendor engagements, third-party integrations, and interoperability with SIEM (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and SOAR platforms </li><li>Chair Steering Committee and architecture-review boards; provide regular status updates to executives and sponsors </li><li>Proactively identify and mitigate project and security risks, escalating when necessary and recommending compensating controls </li><li>Ensure day-2 supportability: coordinate knowledge transfer, runbooks, operational handover, and monitoring/dashboard enablement </li><li>Champion I&IT security and project-management best practices, driving continuous improvement </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Must-haves:</b></p><p>The hiring Team is looking for a Lead Project Manager with the following must-haves:</p><ul><li>Manage enterprise scale IT modernization and cybersecurity programs protecting Critical Value Assets (CVAs) </li><li>Data Projection and Information Security</li><li>Project, Senior Leadership in cybersecurity domain</li><li>Critical Value Assets (CVAs) </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>About Drake International:</b></p><p>Since 1951, Drake International has been a global leader in flexible and permanent staffing, connecting people with the right roles at any career stage, both in Canada and worldwide.
