<p><b>SALARY RANGE:</b> $69,000 - $74,000 per annum</p>

<h3>POSITION SUMMARY</h3>
<p>The Development Officer, Community Engagement for the Community Giving team is responsible to ensure a seamless donor experience and works cross-collaboratively across the Foundation to drive.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Manager, Community Engagement and working with members of the Community Giving team, this role supports Community Engagement programs that include Staff Engagement, Lotteries, and Commemorative Giving programs.</p>
<h3>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<h3>Revenue Generation</h3>
<ul>
<li>Working with the Manager, Community Engagement and Development Officer, Community Giving on fundraising activities</li>
<li>Execute fundraising campaigns and donor communications.</li>
<li>Oversee fulfillment of fundraising programs including managing external vendors</li>
<li>Coordinate with donors to ensure a positive and consistent donor experience for Community Engagement products</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with the hospital to ensure opportunities to promote the Foundation and ways of giving to new and existing staff</li>
<li>Support monthly raffle draw activities</li>
</ul>
<h3>Data and Reporting</h3>
<ul>
<li>Extensive data management for monthly lottery file for MNP</li>
<li>Monitor portfolio performance including preparing and sharing ongoing KPI reports</li>
<li>Work closely with operations teams to improve processes and reporting</li>
</ul>
<h3>Administration</h3>
<ul>
<li>Maintain lottery donor files in accordance with ACGO requirements to ensure smooth operations of the of monthly 50/50 staff lottery</li>
<li>Maintain invoice tracking and fulfillment for programs</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams to support donor gift fulfillment</li>
<li>Ensure all files related are maintained and in good working order</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned or requested</li>
</ul>
<h3>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE</h3>
<ul>
<li>A relevant 4-year degree or, a relevant 3-year degree/diploma combined with a professional certification or, an equivalent combination of formal education and relevant experience.</li>
<li>3 years of experience in administrative coordination/support and collaborating with senior professional fundraising staff and volunteers</li>
<li>Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products and internet tools. Familiarity with and aptitude for Raiser’s Edge /NXT a strong asset</li>
<li>Experience working directly with lottery is preferred</li>
<li>Highly organized, systematic and able to prioritize, schedule and perform complex tasks on time and with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Exemplary attention to detail with excellent planning, organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Resilient and focused</li>
<li>Superior verbal and written communication skills, and ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels</li>
<li>Efficient while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong strategic aptitude with a demonstrated ability to problem solve and handle a diverse range of assignments with multiple timelines</li>
<li>Resourceful and self-motivated while remaining comfortable collaborating within a framework of a goal-oriented team environment</li>
<li>Possess a professional and mature presence with evidence of leadership, sound judgement, intuitiveness, tact and diplomacy</li>
</ul>
<h3>WORK ENVIRONMENT</h3>
<ul>
<li>Fast pace, service and results oriented environment.</li>
<li>May have some activity outside of the office to support meetings with volunteers and sponsors.</li>
<li>The Foundation has a hybrid work model. Staff will be required to have a safe home office set-up 2-3 days per week and will be in office for 1-2 days per week, (specifics to be planned with your manager.)</li>
<li>Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues in all positions throughout the Foundation.</li>
<li>Shared commitment and support of the overall Foundation goals.</li>
