Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 CAD annually

About the Role
As a Digital Fundraising Strategist, you’ll lead the development and execution of integrated, human-centered digital fundraising campaigns across email, ads, websites, and more. You’ll work closely with copywriters, designers, and client teams to craft donor journeys that inspire action and build long-term impact.
You work will raise money AND dignity, hope, and community.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Planning
- Lead strategy for digital fundraising campaigns across multiple clients, aligned with each organization’s goals, voice, and values.
- Develop full-funnel donor journeys: from lead generation and conversion to stewardship and reactivation.
- Use audience insights and data to segment, personalize, and optimize campaigns.
Channel Execution
- Oversee email marketing strategy, calendar planning, segmentation, and optimization.
- Collaborate on paid media strategies (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads) to acquire, convert, and retain donors.
- Guide the creation of campaign landing pages, donation forms, and digital experiences that convert.
Client Leadership
- Serve as the primary strategist on key client accounts, presenting strategies, performance insights, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with account managers, digital specialists, copywriters and designers to ensure seamless execution and optimization.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor KPIs across platforms (CTR, CVR, ROAS, CPL, donor retention, etc.) and lead data-informed decision-making.
- Recommend A/B tests, CRO experiments, and donor journey improvements based on campaign performance.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of digital fundraising or marketing experience, preferably in an agency or nonprofit setting.
- Deep understanding of donor psychology and online giving behaviour.
- Proven experience designing and optimizing email, ad, and landing page funnels.
- Confident using platforms like MailChimp, Fundraise Up, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and GA4.
- You think like a strategist, write like a human, and care deeply about impact.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Zakat/Sadaqah-based giving or working with equity-focused organizations.
