Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in 

  • Collect and wash soiled dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using manual cleaning methods
  • Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried and stored in their designated areas
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including regular cleaning of machines and work surfaces
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitary
  • Support kitchen staff by restocking clean dishes and utensils as needed
  • Unload and store deliveries in appropriate storage areas
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly
  • Sweep and mop floors, paying special attention to spills and potential hazards
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned by the management team
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications

You are an experienced Dishwasher –  who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.

During your mandate, you will be asked to wash dishes, glasses and utensils by hand or with a dishwasher. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen (floors, equipment and material), emptying the garbage cans and transporting the garbage to the appropriate containers. 

You have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role, excellent customer service skills and teamwork. You have the ability to operate tools and equipment. You are able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
