Our values are undoubtedly the reason JYSK has flourished in Canada over the last 29 years with more than 65 stores and 1100+ Colleagues.</p>Job Description<br><br><p>We are seeking a motivated and experienced <strong>Distribution </strong><strong>Center Supervisor</strong> to oversee day-to-day distribution center operations.</p><p>As a <strong>Distribution Center Supervisor,</strong> you will lead a high-performing team, and ensure efficient, accurate work flows and maintaining safety standards in the distribution center. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory accuracy.</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of Distribution Center Colleagues to achieve productivity and quality targets.</li><li>Ensure all operational tasks are completed in compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.</li><li>Monitor labour planning, workload distribution, and shift performance to maintain operational efficiency.</li><li>Investigate and resolve operational challenges, including order variances, inventory discrepancies, and workflow interruptions.</li><li>Support onboarding and training for new colleagues.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, conducting safety checks and ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with other supervisors and management to improve processes, optimize space, and enhance overall Distribution Center performance.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.</li></ul><p><strong>What this role brings to you:</strong></p><ul><li>The possibility of being part of a dynamic team and culture</li><li>The opportunity to have a rewarding career with various prospects for career advancement across different functions and teams</li><li>A great benefit package for full-time colleagues (including medical, vision, dental, life insurance)</li><li>A free 24/7 Employee Assistance Program available to you and your family.</li><li>Paid Vacation</li><li>An amazing colleague discount on all JYSK products</li><li>On-Site free parking</li><li>Yearly allowance for work boots</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>Generally, the <strong>hiring range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually</strong>; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.</p>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>2–4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience; 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of distribution center operations, Workforce Management Systems, and inventory control.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends when required.</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p>JYSK Canada is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
