<p>The Qualcomm Automotive team is rapidly expanding to offer optimized solutions for infotainment and ADAS/Autonomous Driving. To scale and strengthen our offering in this domain, we are seeking a strong Embedded Software Engineer who enjoys working with cutting edge technologies, in a super-charged fast-paced environment.</p>
<p><b>We are seeking experts in camera driver development.</b></p>
<h3><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.</li>
</ul>
<p>Join us as an Embedded Software Engineer as you design and architect camera, display and/or image processing software in Qualcomm’s automotive Snapdragon camera processors.</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop next generation imaging features used in ADAS and automotive functional safety.</li>
<li>Get exposed to industrial best practices working with high profile automotive manufacturers.</li>
<li>Develop knowledge and competency across a variety of HLOS frameworks that powers tomorrow’s vehicles.</li>
<li>Design and implement new automotive camera related features following defined Automotive SW Safety Standards</li>
<li>Participate in design meetings discussing customer requirements and formulate feature design documents</li>
<li>Debug real time issues reported by automotive manufacturers in an actual vehicle test drive</li>
<li>Work with research and development group to integrate and commercialize innovative applications</li>
<li>Fast prototyping for feasibility study on next generation of use case scenarios</li>
<li>Develop compelling demo use cases for tradeshows and conferences</li>
<li>Propose innovative suggestions for optimizations and enriching enhancements for upcoming HW generations</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Required Skills:</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Strong working knowledge of C programming</b></li>
<li>Experience with Linux build system</li>
<li>Experience with Linux on-target debugging (adb, logging, etc.)</li>
<li>Working experience with Git/Perforce source code management systems</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of the following HLOS environments: Android framework, Automotive Grade Linux, QNX, Green Hills</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Preferred Experience:</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>Camera tuning experiences and working knowledge</li>
<li>In-depth understanding of Camera/ISP/Image sensors, SoC architecture, Graphics, Memory Layout, multi-media drivers and/or RTOS.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of popular automotive SERDES</li>
<li>Programming experience with popular sensor modules</li>
<li>Experience delivering large scale SW for Automotive ADAS/Compute or Infotainment programs.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Camera ISP features and functionalities</li>
<li>Working knowledge of ISO 26262</li>
