As an Engineering Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and driving projects for Data Theorem, while ensuring timely delivery of new features. You’ll collaborate closely with Data Theorem's leadership and Engineering stakeholders on planning and execution of projects.

Our products help thousands of Developers and Security Engineers discover, fix and prevent security issues affecting their applications, and you will be instrumental in driving new features and efforts to completion. The ideal candidate should have previous project management experience in delivering and scaling high performing products. 

Experience with information security and building security products is a plus, but not a requirement.

You will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, Engineers and Designers to ensure the execution and release of new customer-facing features, while keeping the stakeholders informed about the project's status and timeline.
  • Lead and manage projects removing any roadblocks that get in the way of execution.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Operations, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on development process and ensure best practices are followed, including agile methodologies and software development principles.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring that the team is appropriately staffed and that resources are effectively utilized.
  • Lead Engineering and Design daily stand-up meetings and report on progress.
  • Lead daily Field-Vision meetings to drive project agenda, roadmap, and discuss customer request.
  • Schedule Engineering tasks for selected backend, frontend, and design teams.
  • Implement Agile development workflow and mange metrics (Velocity, Cycle time, Cumulative flow, Sprint burndown, Release burndown, Code churn, and Mean time to repair (MTTR), etc.)
  • Create and coordinate a release management process, where tasks handoff between design, backend, and frontend teams are completed.
  • Ensure roadmap items are on task for API Secure, Mobile Secure, Web Secure, and Cloud Secure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, including 4+ years of experience in project management.
  • Strong technical background, with experience in software development and architecture.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and software development principles.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • An understanding of the technical details of projects, in order to be able to drive the technical roadmap of the team.
