Enterprise/AWS Architect
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise/AWS Architect to assess, modernize, and optimize our current Oracle database landscape while supporting enterprise-level architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the current Oracle database environment, including data models, performance, scalability, and security posture.
- Identify technical debt, migration risks, and modernization opportunities across database and application layers.
- Recommend future-state data architecture, optimization approaches, and cloud-aligned patterns leveraging AWS services and best practices.
- Work closely with architecture, integration, and engineering teams to provide database insights, dependencies, and integration considerations.
- Contribute to cloud strategy, roadmapping, and solutioning ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and AWS architecture frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or database modernization roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, including RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, and data migration services (DMS, SCT).
- Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and data modelling.
- Experience with cloud adoption frameworks, modernization strategies, and migration assessments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
