Job Description <p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Relevant experience (Yrs): 5-8 Years </strong> </p><p><strong>Module: Epic HB (Hospital Billing) </strong> </p><p><strong>Job Summary: </strong> </p><ul><li><p>The Epic Senior Analyst is responsible for providing support in the implementation, optimization, and day-to-day operation of Epics EHR Solution. </p> </li><li><p>This role involves assisting in system configuration, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with healthcare providers to ensure the effective use of the Epic platform. </p> </li><li><p>Should be able to lead and manage one application module team. </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>Module Expertise: </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Epics EHR Solution and at least one other Epic module/s. </p> </li><li><p>Preferred certifications in multiple Epic modules across Clinical, Revenue cycle, Ancillary, Integration and Reporting towers. </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li><p>System Configuration: Assist in configuring and customizing the Epic EHR solution to align with the organizations specific needs and clinical workflows. </p> </li><li><p>This may involve Epic reporting and interfaces as well. </p> </li><li><p>Monitor and resolve issues through incident management and service requests in ticketing systems. </p> </li><li><p>User Support: Provide frontline support to clinical staff and end-users of the Epic system, addressing inquiries, issues, and user training needs. </p> </li><li><p>Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining data integrity within the Epic system by ensuring that appointment data is accurately captured and follows best practices. Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy of data. </p> </li><li><p>Workflow Analysis: Collaborate with healthcare providers to analyze Epic workflows and identify areas for improvement. Work towards streamlining and </p><p>optimizing Epic processes. </p> </li><li><p>Documentation: Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and issue resolutions. Ensure that documentation is readily available for reference </p><p>and audits. </p> </li><li><p>Training: Provide training to clinical staff and end-users on how to effectively use the Epic system. Create training materials and conduct training sessions. </p> </li><li><p>Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports from the Epic system and analyze data to assess its performance and identify opportunities for improvement. </p> </li><li><p>Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that Epic system usage complies with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use </p><p>(MIPS/MACRA). </p> </li><li><p>Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams to understand their Epic needs and challenges, and work to address them. </p> </li><li><p>Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues related to the Epic system, working with senior analysts or IT teams to resolve problems and maintain system stability. </p> </li><li><p>Provide on-call or after-hours support during major events, as needed. </p> </li><li><p>Participate in upgrades, regression testing, and monthly releases. </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Active Epic certification in Epic HB (Hospital Billing) </p> </li><li><p>Technical bachelor's degree or a degree in healthcare informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field. </p> </li><li><p>Familiarity with Epic EHR Solution and at least one other module is a plus. </p> </li><li><p>Basic understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations. </p> </li><li><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </p> </li><li><p>Problem-solving and analytical abilities. </p> </li><li><p>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and EHR platforms. </p> </li><li><p>Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance, including HIPAA. </p> </li><li><p>Customer service orientation and a willingness to work closely with clinical staff. </p> </li> </ul> </p>Company Description<p>W3Global was established in 2006 in Fremont, CA with a vision: simplify the recruiting process and develop an industry-disrupting platform to connect candidates with clients.
