About the role: As an Event Specialist, you will support with the end-to-end planning, execution, and on-site delivery of client events and programs.


Roles and responsibilities of an Event Specialist include (but are not limited to) the following:


  • Support with the planning, coordination, and execution of client events with exceptional attention to detail and on-site professionalism
  • Provide support on day-to-day client communications and serve as an effective lead on select events and programs with limited support from the Account Manager
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and brand partners by identifying the right partners, negotiating rates, and managing logistics to ensure seamless execution
  • Support in the development of event documents such as run-of-shows, program workbacks, event itineraries, packing lists, and post-event recaps
  • Participate in brainstorms and new business development opportunities
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging platforms, and cultural moments that can inform event and partnership strategies


About you:


  • A postgraduate degree in marketing, public relations, event management, communications, business, or a similar field.
  • 2 - 3 years of directly related experience; an agency background is a must
  • Experience working with luxury clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client interactions (English and French an asset)
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Results-driven, with a strong understanding of how to measure success and deliver against KPIs
  • Ahead of trends and able to bring forward fresh thinking, creative partnership ideas, and unique event recommendations
  • Open to travel and available to be on-site for client events outside of standard work hours when required
