Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Vaughan, ON
Shift Hours:
Regular Shift: 5AM TO 2PM (PLUS OVERTIME)
Overtime available if required.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Vaughan. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate crown reach forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and production floor.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety procedures.
- Perform general labor tasks, including packing, sorting, and organizing products as needed.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid certification for Crown Reach Truck operation.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
- Must have a reliable vehicle for commuting to the Vaughan location.
- Only Permanent Residents (PR) and Canadian Citizens are eligible to apply.
Compensation:
- $21 AND $21.50
Competitive wage with opportunities for overtime.
