Our client is a leading provider of a diverse range of products and solutions for the manufacturing, mining, and construction industries across Canada.<br><br> As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient handling and transportation of materials. <br><br><strong>Your primary duties will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Operating reach trucks to load, unload, and move materials within our facilities.</li><li>Performing pre-shift inspections and maintaining the operational readiness of reach trucks.</li><li>Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.</li><li>Collaborating with the wider team to support the smooth flow of materials and logistics.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>This role requires: </strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience operating Counterbalance Forklift (High Lift 16&#39; racking).</li><li>Ability to read and interpret load charts and other technical documentation.</li><li>A valid forklift operator&#39;s license or certification.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>The ability to lift 50 lbs. individually.</li></ul><p></p><p>This is a contract position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $24 - $27 per hour.
