<p>Collective Waste Solutions is looking to hire full-time permanent Front Load Truck Driver for our Edmonton operations.</p><p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of the Front Load equipment while loading and unloading a variety of waste from various residential collection sites to approved disposal locations.</p><p>Why Join Collective Waste</p><ul><li>Extended health care</li><li>Excellent vision and dental benefits</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Disability Insurance</li><li>Paid- time off</li><li>Wellness Program</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Successfully, safely, efficiently and responsibly operate all assigned equipment and meeting assigned pick-up and delivery schedules.</li><li>Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections and ensure all safety paperwork are maintained and completed as required.</li><li>Perform work assignments received from Field Supervisor in a timely manner, normally without close supervision.</li><li>Prepare, maintain and present work orders, equipment maintenance, incident and safety reports as required, and communicate with Field Supervisor regularly.</li><li>Promptly taking a proactive approach to assess and mitigate hazardous conditions to ensure that all safety and operational activities are successful.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>High School or GED equivalent is required.</li><li>Class 3 license with air brake "Q" endorsement is required.</li><li>Class 1A license is an asset.</li></ul><p>Skills and Experience:</p><ul><li>A minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience.</li><li>Previous waste collection industry and operating waste collection vehicles experience is required.</li><li>General mechanical aptitude by possessing knowledge of trucks and operational equipment.</li><li>Proven organizational and time management skills and ability to adapt to changes in short notice.</li><li>Clear communication and spotting techniques.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sitting for extended periods of time, and repetitive movements.</li><li>Shifts may require occasional extension to ensure work is fully completed.</li></ul><p>Additional position information:</p><ul><li>Pre-access drug and alcohol testing will be conducted.</li><li>Selected candidate will be required to complete a background check.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: From $90,000.00 per year</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision care</li><li>Wellness program</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>waste collection: 1 year (preferred)</li><li>front load driving: 1 year (required)</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>English (required)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Class 3 with Air Brakes endorsement (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
