<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></p><p>We are working on an application OPAS (Operation Platform As Service), which is an in-house developed application for Global Market Operations to fulfil business daily operations requirements.</p><p>The vision of OPAS is to have</p><p>– achieving ultra-scalability without sacrificing performance and availability</p><p>– breakdown into components and take efforts to decentralize change management and providing teams with more control over how features make their way to production</p><p>– distributed and move away from vertically scaled infrastructure and single points of failures</p><p>– Not only needed to transform the way we build and operates on a post trade system, and it needed to transform the culture of GM operations</p><p><b>JOB PURPOSE:</b></p><p>Responsibilities will include</p><p>– Work as a hands on application analyst/developer to provide application solutions to the business</p><p>– Analyze business needs and recommend viable IT solutions to meet these requirements</p><p>– Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business needs, according to established standards and best practices</p><p>– Conduct and support testing to ensure the quality of all deliverables</p><p>– Produce documentation on system solutions to ensure their maintainability and smooth implementation</p><p><b>MUST HAVE:</b></p><p>– Overall 5+ years’ experience</p><p>– At least 3+ years relevant IT experience in micro-service design, development and testing</p><p>– Sound knowledge of Java (8 and above) backend programming, Spring framework, Spring-Boot and Hibernate</p><p>– Knowledge and experience in the following areas are advantages:</p><p>– Experience in developing RESTful service and microservice architecture</p><p>– Experience in developing web using HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, ReactJS, etc.</p><p>– Experience in developing messaging and streaming service, including Websphere MQ, ActiveMQ, Solace MQ, Kafka</p><p>– Sound knowledge of cloud platform and the use of Docker, Kubernetes</p><p><b>NICE TO HAVE:</b></p><p>– FX back office process, workflows for trade subscription, confirmation, settlement and cash accounting</p><p>– Experience in TDD / BDD</p><p>– A fast learner with effective planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills</p><p>– Proactive, possess an outgoing personality, self-motivated and be able to work independently and under pressure</p><p>– •Strong communication and presentation skills with fluent written and spoken English.</p></p></p>
