<p>Caution Tape Robotics Club is a leader in robotics education through VEX in Ontario, Canada, and has been inspiring students to excel through hands-on learning and innovation. We offer fun and exciting STEM programs that include Introduction to VEX Robotics, programming, 3D printing, and Maker Club Projects for kids 5-12 years old. Caution Tape Robotics Club is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working with kids, can bring excitement and doesn't hold back from innovating and improving when possible</p><p>We Are Seeking: An empathetic and proactive VEX IQ Competition coach who is passionate about fostering a love for learning in young students. This role is perfect for individuals who are not only skilled in conveying complex concepts from G4 to 8 students but are also dedicated to nurturing their STEM knowledge and compentancy in the STEM fields.</p><p>Position: Robotics Coach</p><p>Work Schedule:</p><ul><li>Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM</li><li>Sundays: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Deliver engaging robotics lessons, utilizing visual and audio aids to enhance student learning.</li><li>Caring and patiently assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized feedback and support to foster each student's unique growth.</li><li>Maintain an organized and conducive learning environment.</li><li>Collaborate with the club organizer to address parental and student inquiries.</li><li>Design and implement interactive educational activities, games, and events.</li><li>Serve as a positive role model, sharing your achievements and experiences in STEM.</li><li>Recognize and report any concerns regarding student welfare.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Have been an active member in VEX and/or First Robotics Competition</li><li>Previous experience in teaching or tutoring with students in primary grade.</li><li>related STEM and educational field) is highly valued.</li><li>A robust understanding of STEM disciplines, especially in robotics and programming.</li><li>Familiarity with educational best practices and adherence to our club's policies and guidelines.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage young learners.</li><li>Organized, creative, and enthusiastic about STEM education.</li><li>Upholds strong ethical standards and discipline.</li><li>Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months.</li><li>First Aid & CPR Certification is an asset.</li></ul><p>Contract: Part-time for minimum 3 months</p><p>Job Types: Part-time</p><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>robotics competition: 2 years (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>Create Your Resume First
