YOUR ROLE

As a Group Retirement Sales & Service Advisor at CBIG, you will provide group retirement plan members with information and advice regarding their plan and increase sales through voluntary contributions and transfers while looking for opportunities to refer within the organization. You will work with Group Retirement team to grow and administer the group retirement business.



YOUR IMPACT

Provide an exceptional client experience to new and existing clients through Group Retirement sales and services.
Contact individual retirement plan members by phone on a regularly scheduled basis to:
Review their group retirement plan.
Describe the benefits of making voluntary contributions and offer additional investment/insurance options.

Look for opportunities to refer to the Investment & Insurance departments.
Create the potential for sales through voluntary contributions and transfers.
Answer client inquiries.
Ensure client information is up to date.
Help members to better understand the plan in which s/he is enrolled.
Help members understand what they are invested in.
Explain options when a termination package is issued by an employer.
Meet with individual plan members to review their group retirement and investment options.
Prepare and provide presentations for existing and prospective clients.
Liaise with fund companies.
Enroll members in new group retirement plans.
Provide administration training and support to plan administrators.
Maintain accounts, input, and track communication with plan members in CRM.
Work with the Group Benefits team for inclusive service to plan members.
Contribute and participate in the business development of the Group Retirement Department.
Maintain industry standards of professional development.
Actively participate in daily One on Ones and Departmental Meetings.
Abide by corporate policies as documented.
Follow corporate procedures as documented.
Travel when necessary to service the new and existing client base.
Other duties as assigned.



THIS IS YOU

Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with a high level of detail.
Demonstrated sales and customer relations experience.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Sound organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Flexibility to respond to the demands consistent with the responsibilities of the role.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
Ability to be a self-starter, take initiative and work independently.
Ability to work successfully in a team or an autonomous environment.
Current Life Insurance license. (preferred)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Investment and Insurance industry (preferred)

COMPENSATION

At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $55,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training.
