Job Duties
- Conducting guided wave testing (GWT) on a variety of piping and pipelines.
- Interpreting GWT inspection data and producing high quality reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to resolve any issues and complete projects.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to GWT inspection.
- Staying up to date with the latest GWT inspection techniques and technology.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Guided Ultrasonics Limited (GUL) level 1 certification and a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in NDT inspection.
- GUL level 2 certification would be considered an asset.
- CGSB Ultrasonic Level 2 would be considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of GWT inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have access to health benefits and may be required to join a union affiliated with the QCCC.
Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.
