Job Title: Hoist Operator / Section 5 Operator
Location/Pay: Vancouver, BC, Canada ($28/hr)

Responsibilities: As a Hoist Operator / Section 5 Operator, your main responsibilities are:
- Equipment Operation: Operate hoisting equipment safely, such as cranes and passenger/material hoists.
- Load Management: Move materials, equipment, and people within the construction site safely.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety rules, including those in Section 5 of BC's Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
- Maintenance: Perform basic equipment checks.
- Communication: Work closely with the construction team and follow safety protocols.
- Documentation: Keep records of equipment checks, maintenance, and incidents as needed.
Qualifications: To be considered, candidates should have:
- Certification: Valid Hoist Operator certification.
- Safety Knowledge: Understanding of BC's Section 5 safety regulations.
- Experience: Prior experience in hoist operation is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and climb as needed (Minimum, 25 lbs).
- Team Player: Works well with others.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
