Our client is a leading Canadian infrastructure and construction organization delivering major projects across the country. We are looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to support project teams, operations leaders, and joint venture partnerships.

What You Will Do

You will play a key role supporting field and project operations by:

• Leading workforce planning, including mobilization/demobilization, rotations, and succession planning

• Partnering with Joint Venture HR teams and maintaining a strong connection with seconded employees

• Managing employee relations, conducting investigations, and supporting performance management and conflict resolution

• Supporting compensation reviews, promotions, salary recommendations, and STIP-related processes

• Overseeing disability case management and coordinating return-to-work and accommodation plans

• Coaching leaders on performance management, IDPs, and progressive discipline

• Facilitating talent reviews (9-box), capability assessments, and development planning

• Supporting corporate HR programs, new initiatives, and training sessions

• Providing HR reporting, audits, and systems support (SAP experience is an asset)

• Mentoring HR Administrators and ensuring accurate process execution

What You Bring

We are looking for someone with:

✔ 5+ years progressive HR experience

✔ Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial, energy, utilities, mining, or manufacturingenvironments

✔ Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and performance management

✔ Background in workforce planning, rotations, or project staffing

✔ Experience with disability management and return-to-work programs

✔ Exposure to compensation cycles and salary recommendations

✔ Comfort operating in a fast-paced, project-driven, matrixed environment

✔ Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

✔ SAP HR or ERP experience (asset)

✔ CHRL designation or in progress (asset)
