HR Policy, Compliance & Legislative Guidance</p><ul><li>Advise on legislated requirements and ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant.</li><li>Develop and update HR policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain HR due diligence and liability controls.</li><li>Monitor trends impacting HR practices and recommend adjustments.</li></ul><p></p><p>2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning</p><ul><li>Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and shortlisting.</li><li>Prepare employment agreements and conduct background and reference checks.</li><li>Support strategies for effective recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention.</li></ul><p></p><p>3. Employee Relations, Coaching & Culture Development</p><ul><li>Provide confidential coaching on performance, conflict resolution, engagement, and cultural issues.</li><li>Support disability and attendance management practices.</li><li>Contribute to culture initiatives through surveys, evaluations, and issue identification.</li><li>Recommend practices that support a positive, inclusive organizational climate.</li></ul><p></p><p>4. Training & Development</p><ul><li>Coordinate mandatory legislative training assignments and track completion.</li><li>Support employee learning initiatives, including skills development and role-specific training.</li><li>Identify training needs and recommend opportunities for staff and leadership development.</li></ul><p></p><p>5. Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration</p><ul><li>Manage payroll-related employee data and coordinate with payroll administration.</li><li>Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.</li><li>Address payroll and benefits inquiries accurately and efficiently.</li></ul><p></p><p>6. HR Systems, Processes & Data Management</p><ul><li>Oversee HRIS use, optimization, and vendor or plan changes.</li><li>Streamline and automate HR processes.</li><li>Support ERP transitions and ensure data accuracy and smooth workflows.</li></ul><p></p><p>7. Health, Safety & Risk Management</p><ul><li>Support the Joint Health and Safety Committee.</li><li>Promote staff and client safety through adherence to policies and incident reporting.</li><li>Ensure HR practices align with organizational risk management standards.</li></ul><p></p><p>8. Strategic HR Support & Community Engagement</p><ul><li>Engage in HR networks to stay current with best practices and emerging trends.</li><li>Conduct research to inform HR strategy and planning.</li><li>Provide guidance on HR services and recommend service improvements.</li></ul><p></p><p>9. Commitment to Client-Centered Care & Organizational Values</p><ul><li>Uphold organizational values of respect, collaboration, and service planning.</li><li>Support consistent, high-quality client-centered practices across HR functions.</li></ul><p></p><p><br><br></p><p>Who Were Looking For</p><p>You bring a solid foundation in Human Resources and are confident working across the full employee life cycle.
