Insight Global is looking to hire an IAM Engineer for a leading bank in downtown Toronto:

JOB DESCRIPTION

– This candidate will be working in the Identity & Access Management (IAM) space and must have experience working with 3rd party IAM solutions.


– This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of IAM Services’ projects and solutions in collaboration with operations, information security, architecture, and project managers.

– Designing and implementing solutions and processes for authentication, authorization and access enforcement.


– Will be responsible for providing technical solutions and assisting the application teams in the use of IAM services.

– This candidate will serve as third level support for IAM services and supporting utilities when tier one and two support are unable to resolve troubleshooting.


– Create and maintain system documentation for IAM Services and affiliated technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.

– This candidate must have strong coordination, and interpersonal skills as this role requires significant interaction with different teams across the organization.


– This candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills and ability to simplify and explain technical issues into understandable business language.

– This candidate must have scripting experience to automate tasks, configuration changes, data collection and user provisioning.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


– 4 to 6 years of hands on experience working with multiple 3rd party IAM solutions in a fast-paced complex global environment with a demonstrated record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems.

Experience with any of the following technologies:

– SSO, MFA and Adaptive Risk-based authentication


– Identity Federation

– Authentication and Authorization for REST, Microservices, & SOAP


– IAM integration with cloud providers like AWS/Azure/GCP

– Directory integration including Active Directory, LDAP, Virtual Directories


– Integration with provisioning and attestation systems

– Experience with X.509 certificates, trust stores, TLS troubleshooting and tracing.



– Working knowledge of industry standards and protocols including SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, LDAP, Kerberos, WS-Fed, etc.

– Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting Authentication Authorization Configurations.


– Working knowledge of LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies, monitoring, and supporting best practices.

– Good understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management, security, and audit compliance.



– Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
