A career as an Investment Analyst at National Bank Financial – Wealth Management, means that you’ll be part of a team of 1,000 investment advisors in the 5th largest investment brokerage firm in Canada. In this position, you’ll use your analytical mind and passion for finance to have a positive impact on our organization. Your role is to bring value to our clients by strategically managing their investments.
Your job
- Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange-traded funds, investment funds and other securities that may be included in investment portfolios
- Create and regularly update model portfolios
- Track portfolio performance
- Produce financial reports
- Stay up to date on the latest economic news
- Help managers prepare recommendations for new clients
- Contribute actively to the preparation of bi-monthly investment committee meetings
Your team
You’ll join a team of portfolio managers where you’ll play an essential role.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- Three years of experience in the securities industry
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
- CFA and/or CIM designation
- Knowledge of Croesus 8+ asset
