<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><br><br><p><strong>Centre: Bright Studios - Springbank</strong><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Job Type: Full Time</strong></p><p><strong>Gymnastics/Acro Instructor – Position Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking a passionate and reliable Gymnastics/Acro Instructor to join our team!<br /> The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical training, a fun and positive attitude, and a love for working with children aged 3 to 12. You’ll lead structured, skill-building classes in a safe and encouraging environment while helping each student grow in strength, flexibility, and confidence.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Instruct weekly <span >gymnastics/acrobatics</span> classes using age-appropriate techniques</li><li>Create lesson plans focused on strength, flexibility, coordination, and skill progression</li><li>Foster a fun, inclusive, and safe class atmosphere</li><li>Provide hands-on spotting and corrections with a strong emphasis on safety</li><li>Take down and set up the dance/gym room before and after each class, including mats and equipment</li><li>Prepare students for seasonal showcases or performances (if applicable)</li><li>Communicate professionally with families and Bright Studios staff</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized teaching space</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>1–2 years of experience teaching recreational or competitive gymnastics/acro</li><li>Background in dance, acrobatics, cheer, or physical education is an asset</li><li>Comfortable teaching a range of ages and skill levels (from Tiny Tumblers to Intermediate Acro)</li><li>Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills</li><li>Standard First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>NCCP or Acrobatic Arts certification is an asset, but not required</li></ul><p><hr /></p></p></p>
